Pelican Landing Nets, founded by Stefan Toth, encapsulate artisanal craftsmanship and innovative reuse. Stefan Toth, a legendary Swedish skateboarder—distinguished as tone of very few Swedes sponsored by Power Peralta—has transitioned from his skateboarding career to become a furniture designer and the creator of Pelican Landing Nets.
The origin of the brand was rooted in the concept of repurposing used skateboards into crafted, functional fishing nets, embodying a philosophy of transforming existing materials into new, meaningful objects. Each Pelican Landing Net is meticulously handcrafted, ensuring its uniqueness and individuality.
Together with Stefan and Pelican Landing Nets, this collaboration represents a pioneering step: the creation of a customized landing net constructed from the wooden core of a decommissioned TUR Snowboard. Each net is uniquely handcrafted, with Pelican Landing Nets certifying its authenticity and maintaining a record of the specific TUR Snowboard used in its construction.
