NARRATIVE:
The Buteo is designed with a short tail that allows it to make shorter turns than its actual radius, while giving greater control and stability in both hardpacked and powder. While its longer nose with the cut-off top gives it incredible float. An added width and well thought-through profile makes it delicate on and off-piste, and the camber and rocker in the nose and tail helps give it quick releases but also fantastic control when needed. Made with a premium light wood core blended with a wooden veneer top-sheet to make the board damp and help remove chatter. Added to that is the Scando Grip technology with 3-extra contact points on the edges for maximum edge-hold and superior bite on hard pack. Together with a sintered graphite race-base for insanely high speed gives you a powerful yet playful board that’s incredibly unique.
